	PARENT CENTER You are your child's most important educational advocate. At STEPS, we provide support for parents helping their child to learn to read, write, and spell. Support ranges from online interactives to in-person, graduate level classes and individual tutoring. Using our online Phonogram Lab, you can help your child master the 78 phonogram sounds as he learns STEPS in his school classroom. The STEPS Binder and accompanying Online Professional Development enable you to become your child's primary reading teacher. The STEPS Reading Center also provides individual tutoring for students in the Summerville, SC area.

Located in the Oakbrook area of Summerville, SC, STEPS Reading Center offers tutoring for all ages in reading, writing, and spelling. Our specially trained STEPS instructors see students 2 hours per week in one-on-one tutoring sessions.

Classes for learning to teach STEPS meet at the STEPS Reading Center in the evenings and summers. Participants meet in face-to-face sessions to practice the STEPS teaching techniques and see in-person modeling.

Training is supported by the online STEPS Training that accompanies each STEPS Teacher's Manual.

Homeschool Sessions are scheduled for homeschooling parents who are using STEPS materials to teach their children.
